Madeline Bay as Cleopatra

Madeline Bay (Third Season) currently a dancer with Ballet Idaho, began her training at Illinois Ballet Theater in Moline, Illinois. In 2006 she joined the pre-professional company River Pointe Ballet. She was a scholarship student with the Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, and Texas Ballet Theater. She then attended the University of Utah and joined the resident company, Utah Ballet.

Some of her performance highlights with Ballet Idaho include Fairy Godmother in Edwaard Liang’s Cinderella, Helena in Peter Anastos’ A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker as well as featured roles in Danielle Rowe’s Dreamland, Ricardo Amarante’s Love Fear Loss, Alejandro Cerrudo’s Lickety Split, Lauren Edson’s Missed Migration and Robyn Mineko Willaims’ Grey Horses.

Madeline has spent six summers dancing with ARC Dance in Seattle, under the direction of Marie Chong, where she has originated principal roles for works by Alex Ketley, Wen Wei Wang and David Fernandez. Madeline has also danced with LED in Boise, directed by Lauren Edson and Treefort Music Fest.

Terpsicorps audiences will remember Madeline as Miss Aubrey in last season’s production of Vampyre, as well as her comedic roles in The Date, Famous Last Words and Couch Potatoes in 2021.


MOrgan Stillman As Julius Caesar

Morgan Stillman (Second Season) began his ballet training with Project Ballet in Fort Wayne, Ind., and attended Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. In 2014, he joined Nevada Ballet Theatre and performed principal and soloist roles in an eclectic repertoire. Morgan joined Ballet Austin in 2017 and has performed soloist and principal roles with choreographers such as Stephen Mills, Justin Peck, Pam Tanowitz, Lar Lubovitch, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Jennifer Hart, and Amy Seiwert. He has also performed with the National Choreographic Initiative in Invine, CA. in 2017 and 2018.

David Ward As Marc Antony

David Ward (Third Season), is currently in his 18th season dancing professionally as a leading dancer with BalletMet in Columbus Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two children. David was born in London, England where he received his early training, attending The Royal Ballet School programs, and later graduating from the English National Ballet School. David began his professional career with Northern Ballet in Leeds, England, where he was promoted to soloist and then moved to the US to join BalletMet in Columbus as a leading dancer. Mr Ward has performed as a Guest Principal with Oklahoma City Ballet and joined companies performing lead roles in productions across the USA. He originated roles in many world premiere creations including the Prince in Edwaard Liang’s Cinderella and James Kudelka’s Rite of Spring. He has performed leads in an array of diverse classical and contemporary repertoire including the works of George Balanchine, Jerome Robins, Michael Pink, Edwaard Liang, David Nixon and Christopher Wheeldon. Outside of dancing professionally, David enjoys teaching and coaching. He was the Répétiteur for Edwaard Liang’s full length production of Romeo and Juliet at Ballet San Antonio, Co-Artistic Director for the Yellowstone dance project in Montana, a guest teacher and summer Intensive faculty for a range of both Ballet companies and schools throughout the US.

Terpsicorps audiences will remember David as the original cast of the duet Calm, as well as roles in REBORN and the Many Deaths of Edward Gorey.


Florrie Sésé Geller as Arsinoe

Florrie Sésé Geller (First Season) began her pre-professional training with the legendary Marcia Dale Weary and the faculty of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She continued her ballet education at Next Generation Ballet, as well as at summer programs at the School of American Ballet and San Francisco Ballet school. After winning the gold medal at the Youth America Grand Prix Semi-Finals, Florrie distinguished herself by placing in the Top 12 Junior Women at the Final Round of YAGP at Lincoln Center and was selected by Susan Jaffe and Gillian Murphy as the first recipient of the Gillian Murphy Endowed Scholarship to UNC School of the Arts. Florrie then attended the San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship, studying with Tina LeBlanc and Sofiane Sylve.

At the age of eighteen, Florrie was offered a professional contract with Cincinnati Ballet’s main company, while continuing her training with celebrated master teacher, Wilhelm Burmann. At Cincinnati Ballet, Florrie performed Princess Florine in Devon Carney’s The Sleeping Beauty, the solo role in Jiri Kylian’s Sechs Tanze, Virginia Woolf in Sarah Van Patten’s Skylight, Cygnet in Kirk Peterson’s Swan Lake, and a soloist role in Myles Thatcher’s Anomaly. Florrie has also danced in ballets by Adam Hougland, Victoria Morgan, and Septime Webre.

In 2019, Florrie was invited to represent the United States in the Beijing International Ballet and Choreographic Competition. As a professional dancer, Florrie continues her training with renowned ballet master, Magaly Suarez. She has appeared in galas including YAGP Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow, and Florida Classical Ballet’s Summer Gala.  Florrie is currently dancing with the Rochester City Ballet.


Betsy Lucas As calpurnia

Betsy Lucas (Second Season) was born in Hillsboro, Oregon and trained with the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre under the direction of Damara Bennet. In 2010 she joined Nevada Ballet Theatre, where she has remained for 13 seasons. Betsy’s repertoire includes lead roles in several full-length classics: “Clara” in NBT’s production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by James Canfield, “Wendy” in Jorden Morris’ Peter Pan, “Beauty,” in Lew Christensen’s Beauty and the Beast, "Alice" in Septime Webre Alice (In Wonderland), "Svetlana" in Ben Stevenson's Dracula, Serenade (Soloist Russian Girl), and Western Symphony (1st movement Principal.) When not performing, Betsy enjoys teaching in various dance studios, sewing costumes and rehearsal wear for her own dance wear line, Style En Pointe.

Patricio Di Stabile As Ptolemy XIII & Octavian

Patricio Di Stabile (First Season) is from Buenos Aires Argentina. He moved to the US in 2021, and is currently a dancer with Dimensions Dance Theater of Miami. He has been a featured guest artist for companies including San Jose Dance Theatre and Canyon Concert Ballet and is excited to be joining Wonderbound in Denver, CO for the 2023/24 Season.

A graduate from the School of Teatro Colon, in Argentina, Patricio then went on to study at the Ballet Academy East in NYC under the direction of Darla Hoover with a Full Scholarship. He has participated in the Moscow International Ballet Competition at the Bolshoi Theater and danced for the Ballet Estable de Tucumán, Compania danza Argentina.

Patricio recently premiered a documentary movie called “ISOLATION” for All Latin America. He directed and choreographed the work during the pandemic, along with four other Argentinian dancers from major companies around the globe.


Cooper Verona As BRUTUS

Cooper Verona (First Season)  currently dances for BalletMet in Columbus, OH. He recently moved from Pittsburgh where he danced for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for eleven seasons.  He is originally from Connecticut and received his early training from David Lawrence and Wendy Fish-Lawrence at Connecticut Concert Ballet. He received further training from Ethan Stiefel at the UNC School of the Arts and Claudio Muñoz and Andrew Murphy at Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy.   Verona has been featured as Hilarion in Terrence S Orr’s Giselle, Rothbart in Swan Lake, Tybalt in Derek Deane’s Romeo and Juliette, Dracula in Ben Stevenson’s Dracula, Bernardo in Jerome Robbins’ West Side Story Suite, Mad Hatter in Derek Deane’s Alice in Wonderland, Jay Gatsby in Jorden Morris’ The Great Gatsby, Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty,  and Cavalier in Terrence S. Orr’s The Nutcracker.  He has also been featured in William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, Jerome Robbins’ In the Night, Dwight Rhoden’s Ave Maria and Julia Adam’s Ketubah.  Other memorable performances include Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room, Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort and Sechs Tanze, James Kudelka’s The Man in Black, Kyle Abraham’s Quiet Dance, and Mark Morris’ Maelstrom, Drink To Me Only With Thine Eyes, and Sandpaper Ballet. Verona also has a passion for choreography. He has been commissioned by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre to create brood, Walking With, Gravitational Embrace and Thick White Sheets.  He has also created works for Point Park University, Chamber Dance Project, PearlARTS Festival, Carnegie Mellon Center for the Arts in Society and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s School.


William Fowler As Ptolemy XII

William Brewton Fowler Jr. (Seventh Season) is from Augusta, GA and studied contemporary dance at the UNC School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. While at UNCSA, he had the honor of performing Twyla Tharp’s “Sweet Fields” for Sally Ride’s Tribute at the Kennedy Center. He also danced works by Maurya Kerr, José Limón, Grady Bowman, Bill T. Jones, Juel D. Lane, Susan Jaffe, Merce Cunningham, Ming-Lung Yang and Kimberly Bartosik. In San Francisco, he worked for Gregory Dawson’s company, DawsonDanceSF, and had the opportunity to co-choreograph a duet with Frankie Peterson for the Black Choreographers Festival. In New York, he performed for Summer Stage with Stephanie Batten Bland’s Company, SBB. He has also worked with Gallim Dance under the direction of Andrea Miller, and with Stewart/Owen Dance in Asheville. William is currently dancing with Oakland Ballet.

Jeff Ewing As Pothinus

Jeff Ewing (Eighth Season) is from Torrance, California where he began his classical ballet training at the age of six. His family moved to Asheville while he was in high school, where he continued his studies locally at Center Stage with Heather Maloy as his ballet instructor. Jeff has danced in Chicago with Lucky Plush Productions and Cocodaco Dance Project and currently dances with Stewart/Owen Dance.  He earned a BFA in Dance Performance at the Boston Conservatory, studied at the Juilliard Summer intensive, the apprentice program at The Chautauqua Institution, and assisted Cathy Young at Bates Dance Festival.  He spent a year dancing with Charlotte Ballet’s second company where he performed the works of Mark Diamond, Dwight Rhoden, and David Ingram.

Terpsicorps audiences will remember Jeff from roles in HUNGER, Second Line, Transform, Together We Soar, Coach Potatoes, Zelda’s Dance and many more.


The beautiful Terpsicorps apprentices

Brooke Amundrud (Second Season) began dancing in Sapphire, North Carolina at Betsy’s School of Dance. To continue her training, she began dancing at The Academy at Terpsicorps under the direction of Heather Maloy. Brooke was later accepted into Nashville Ballet’s Professional Training Division and then at Houston Ballet as a Pro 2 Student. In Houston, Brooke performed in Ben Stevenson’s Don Quixote and Raymonda, and Stanton Welch's Brigade and The Nutcracker. Brooke was also a trainee at Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company where she performed in Christopher Ruud’s Jupiter’s Court, Devon Carney’s The Nutcracker, Micheal Pink’s Dracula, “Aspirin Girls” in George Balanchine’s Serenade. Now a dancer with Ballet Tucson, she was the winner of Footprints at the Fox for her choreography of “Exile’s Jig” which was performed again during the main stage repertoire in the Spring.

Alexandra “Sasha” Butman (Second Season) graduated from Morris County School of Technology as a dance major in the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. In 2019 she was awarded the New Jersey Governor’s Award in Arts Education for Artistic Excellence and Leadership in Dance. Outside of school, Alexandra studied at New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble, a pre-professional school under the direction of Nancy Turano. Alexandra received a full scholarship to spend the summers of 2018 and 2019 with the Ecole Supérieure De Ballet Du Québec in Montreal, Canada. She recently completed a contract with Missouri Contemporary Ballet working with choreographers such as Autumn Eckman, Stephanie Martinez, Karen Merrick Grundy and Fernando Rodriguez. Currently, she is returning for a second season with Alabama Ballet.

Elizabeth Brooks (First Season) began her dance training in Charlotte, North Carolina at Bonita’s School of Ballet and Open Door Studio and furthered it in New York on part scholarship at the Martha Graham Dance School. In 2019, Elizabeth joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee and in 2021, she joined Ballet Quad Cities as a company artist. Elizabeth currently dances with Columbia City Ballet as a company artist where she has performed roles such as Chinese Pas De Deux in William Starrett’s The Nutcracker and Nina (lead role) in William Starrett’s Ferdinand and the Bull. She has also enjoyed teaching ballet for 6 years and looks forward to her first season with Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance.

Ida Cacanindin (First Season) grew up in Asheville, North Carolina training at Southside Dance Studio and The Ballet Conservatory of Asheville and spent her sophomore and junior years of high school at the UNC School of the Arts. She spent her summers training at the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and at Miami City Ballet School. At UNCSA, Ida had the opportunity to perform roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Principal in Balanchine's Symphonie Concertante, and in Swan Lake Pas de Trois. For her senior year, Ida moved to Miami, Florida where she trained with Miami City Ballet School and had opportunities to perform with the Miami City Ballet Company. For the upcoming season, she will be an Apprentice with Miami City Ballet.

Annabelle Cook (First Season) Originally from Kansas City, Annabelle trained with former Kansas City ballet dancers, Juan Pablo Trujillo and Stefani Schrimpf at the Kansas School of Classical Ballet. She was a part of Saint Louis Ballet's Professional training Program for the 2022/2023 season where she had the opportunity to perform in Gen Horiuchi's 'The Nutcracker' and 'Swan lake' and other new works he has created. She is so excited to be working with Terpsicorps and to expand her experience performing contemporary dance.

Stephanie Eggers (First Season) is from Kildeer, IL where she began her training at Barrington Dance Academy. She attended summer programs with companies such as Chicago Repertory Ballet, Ballet West, and Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet. Stephanie graduated from the University of Oklahoma (OU) where she performed in works by choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Tommie-Waheed Evans, Gerald Arpino and Amy Hall Garner, as well as appearing in the Pas de Trois in Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker. She danced as a soloist in Ballet Vermont’s Farm to Ballet Project in 2021, and a principal in 2022. Stephanie joined Ballet Quad Cities for their 2022-2023 season and performed works by Courtney Lyon, Emily Kate Long, and Deepali Phanse Bhagwat.
