Christopher Bandy, rehearsal director

Christopher Bandy is pleased to return for his 18th season with Terpsicorps. This marks his 11th year of coaching our dancers after inheriting the position from his mentor Timothy Yeager in the 2011 season.

Mr. Bandy has choreographed several original works for Terpsicorps including the duet Yin/Yang, Half Past Never set to music by stephaniesld, On the Inside, and softloud. In addition to Terpsicorps, Mr. Bandy danced with American Repertory Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Dance Alloy Theater.

A part of Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance since the beginning, Christopher was a featured dancer each summer for 7 of the first 8 seasons. Some of his more memorable Terpsicorps Roles include the bowler-hat man in C-H-I-C-K-E-N, the stoner in Couch Potatoes, one of The Men, the dummy in Dummy, and of course the Boss in the Recession Blues.

Christopher lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Mollie and daughters Amelia and Sidra where he teaches ballet to the next generation of dancers at Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company.
